CANCELLATION POLICY : In the unfortunate event of cancellation or curtailment of your booking, a cancellation charge will be made unless we are able to re-let the cancelled accommodation. This cancellation charge will be calculated as a % of the total cost of the cancelled accommodation according to the following table :

BEDROOMS : All bedrooms have colour TV, private bathroom or shower-room with toilet. They are centrally heated, have tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phone and a hair dryer. Many rooms have wonderful sea views, the remainder have a pleasant country or garden outlook. The 17th century Coach House annex is situated 25 yards from the main hotel building and offers a superb four poster suite and two separate en-suite double bedrooms. The main hotel has a further 18 bedrooms, including 4 four-posters and some suites. All bedrooms differ in size and character, most of the 2nd floor rooms have some sloping eaves. The hotel does not have a lift.
The Garden Suite : Double or twin bedded room with private bathroom, garden and sea views, and a separate lounge which can convert into an extra double or single bedroom, plus a cloakroom offering a second toilet and a wash basin. This is a ground floor room but is approached by some stairs - not suited to the disabled. The lounge has french windows giving direct access to the garden.
Westminster Suite : Spacious, oak paneled bedroom with wall carvings circa 1636. It has a large four-poster bed (additional beds can be supplied for children), private bathroom and extensive sea views.
Purbeck Suite : A family suite, comprising one double bedroom and a separate twin (or triple) bedroom, each with a TV, tea and coffee facilities and wash hand basin, sharing a family bathroom.
Coach House Suite : Newly refurbished, this offers a fabulous four-poster bedroom, dressing area, bathroom and a spacious lounge (with bed settee) and easy chairs. Furnished and equipped to a high standard with mini bar, VCR, DVD and CD hi-fi.
Single Rooms : The hotel has no single bedrooms. If bookings allow, small doubles can sometimes be let for single occupancy. A surcharge is made as follows : 1st Jan - 6th April & 1st Oct -23rd December £35 per night, 7th April - 30th Sept £45 per night. During peak times the full double occupancy rate may be applicable.
Special Needs and Requirements : Guests with any special requirements should discuss them at the time of booking. We will endeavor to accommodate these needs where possible.
Children : Minimum age 5 years, children over 16 years classed as an adult.
Children sharing 5-10 years with 2 adults are charged £45 each per night which includes high tea or dinner and full English breakfast.
Children sharing 11-15 years with 2 adults are charged half the adult rate including high-tea or dinner and full English breakfast.
A child sharing a room with only one adult will be charged at the normal adult rate.
Dogs : Well behaved dogs can be accommodated at the proprietors discretion. Please advise when booking. Dogs are not permitted in the lounge, bar or restaurant. A charge of £5.00 per night will be made - any extra cleaning or laundry will be charged accordingly. Please bring your own dog bed or blanket. Food not supplied.
Luncheons : A wide and varied range of hot and cold dishes are available daily from the bar between 12.00pm and 2.00pm. A traditional 3 course Table d’hote lunch is also available every Sunday (booking required).
Dinner : A superb quality dinner is included in the rates as listed on the tariff. Dinner is served between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Please advise reception in advance if you wish to have guests join you for dinner. Our Table d’hote menu changes daily and features fresh local produce, locally caught fish and vegetarian options. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice.

Tennis Courts : The Hotel has two full size all-weather tennis courts. Correct tennis shoes should be worn. Tennis rackets and balls can be provided.
