The Manor House Hotel is situated on the Studland Peninsular and is only approachable by road from either Corfe Castle or from Bournemouth via the Sandbanks chain ferry which crosses the entrance to Poole Harbour every 20 minutes or so.

If you are coming from London or Southampton there is little difference in the drive time between going round via Wareham and Corfe Castle or going through Bournemouth and taking the Ferry. If you go on the Ferry which lasts about 5 minutes you will enjoy the views of Poole Harbour from the Ferry.

Many of our guests choose to come via the ferry and go back via Corfe Castle as the drive back is one of the most stunning around and well worth the effort.
